Steven H. Winterbauer
is the Managing Member of the firm. He is a graduate of Stanford University (Phi Beta
Kappa, with Distinction) and Stanford Law School. Before founding the firm, Mr.
Winterbauer was a partner with Foster, Pepper & Shefelman, where he served as
Chair of the Employment and Labor Group. Mr. Winterbauer is co-chair of the Washington
State Bar Association's Annual Employment Law Institute and a former arbitrator/mediator
with Jams/Endispute (1996-2000). He has successfully litigated employment and labor cases
before the Washington Court of Appeals, the Washington Supreme Court, the
Untied States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of
Washington, the United
States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and multiple state superior
courts as well as the EEOC, HRC, DOL and NLRB. Mr.
Winterbauer is on the editorial advisory board of the Employee Relations Law Journal and
is a frequent author of employment and labor articles included in national, regional and
local publications. He has lectured on civil litigation and employment and labor law for
the University of Washington Extension Program, the federal, state and county bar
associations, and private education providers. Mr. Winterbauer's peers
have selected him annually as one of Washington Law & Politics'

In America since 2004. Mr. Winterbauer is a member of the Washington State Bar Association's Alternate Dispute
Resolution, Labor & Employment Law and Litigation Law Sections, as well as the King
County Bar Association's Labor & Employment Law Section. Kenneth J. Diamond is a
member of the firm. He is a graduate of Yale University (Cum Laude, with
Distinction) Columbia University (M.A., Education) and Stanford Law School. After serving
as a law clerk to The Honorable J. Frederick Motz, former Chief Judge of the United States
District Court for the District of Maryland, Mr. Diamond practiced in Washington, D.C.
with Covington & Burling and Chadbourne & Parke. In addition to employment and
labor law, he has expertise in insurance law and commercial litigation. His professional
activities include serving on the Planning Committee for the Pacific Coast Labor Law
Conference and as President of the Western Washington Stanford Law School Society and
frequently lecturing and writing on employment-related matters. Mr. Diamond is a member of
the bars of Washington, Maryland and the District of Columbia and is admitted to practice
in the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, the Ninth
Circuit Court of Appeals and several other federal district and appellate courts.

Ann Marie Lewis
is a member and administrator of the firm. She is a graduate of Emory University (Academic
Honor Society, Leadership Honor Society) and Stanford Law School. Ms. Lewis is fluent in
Spanish and serves as our in-house translator. She addresses a growing employer need for
bilingual legal services, whether in the context of written documentation, such as
employee notices, manuals and contracts, or interviews and information gathering in
immigration matters. Ms. Lewis practiced corporate law in the Commercial Transactions
Department of Bogle & Gates. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association's
